Connecting Shopify
Shopify connects via OAuth — you authorize the platform against your store directly, there's no access token to find or paste yourself.
Connect
- Go to Connectors → Add connector → Shopify.
- Enter your store's
.myshopify.comdomain (e.g.your-store.myshopify.com). - Click Connect with Shopify. You'll be redirected to Shopify to approve access, then sent back automatically.
- The connection is verified immediately — you'll see a Connected status, or an error message explaining what failed (invalid domain, revoked access, etc.).
Access requested: read_products,write_products
— enough to read your catalog and update prices, nothing else.
Reconnecting the same store domain updates the existing connector's credentials rather than creating a duplicate.
What you can do once connected
- Import your catalog — Imports → create an import against this connector to pull Shopify products in (create-only, or create-and-update on repeat runs). Scope which products get pulled using the same tag/attribute condition builder used by pricing rules.
- Export prices — Exports → create an export to push computed prices back to Shopify, on a schedule or manually via Run now.
- Per-product push/pull — on any connector-tracked product's page, use Push price to send just that product's current price, or Pull latest to re-fetch it from Shopify on demand.
How price changes reach Shopify
An auto_apply pricing rule on
a Shopify-tracked product doesn't update the live price the instant it's computed — it's held
until the next successful export push confirms the price actually reached Shopify. This avoids
the panel showing a price as "live" before it's actually gone out.
Audit log
Every push and pull — scheduled, manual, or per-product — is logged on the connector's Logs page: which product, what happened (created / updated / skipped / failed), and why. Check here first if a price doesn't seem to be syncing.
Troubleshooting
- Connection shows an error status — the status message explains why (expired/revoked access, invalid shop domain, etc.). Reconnect via Connect with Shopify again to re-authorize.
- A specific product isn't updating — check the connector's Logs page for that SKU. A skipped entry usually means it didn't match an import's condition filter; failed includes the actual error from Shopify.
