Notifications

Notifications tell you when something worth your attention happened, without you needing to go looking for it.

What triggers a notification

Trigger Fires when
Competitor price change A tracked competitor's price moves by 5% or more since the last scrape.
Scrape repeatedly failing A competitor URL fails to scrape three times in a row — fires once per failure streak, not on every retry.
New price suggestion A suggest_only pricing rule produces a genuinely new pending suggestion (not a refresh of an existing one).

Delivery

Two tiers, configured independently per trigger in Settings → Notifications:

  • In-app — always instant. The bell icon and the full history page show everything as it happens; this is always on.
  • Email — choose per trigger: Off, Instant (one email per event), or a Daily / Weekly / Monthly digest that bundles everything since the last one into a single email.

No preference set means the default (Instant) applies — nothing to configure to start receiving email.

Where to look

The bell icon in the header shows your latest unread notifications at a glance. The full history at Notifications in the sidebar shows everything, read or not.
